Waiting....
Clove is due on Friday, we will be putting in her nest box tomorrow. We are pretty skeptical that we will get any babies though :( Clove hasn't been at maximum health this month and with her poor history of litters thus far, we are just not expecting any to make it. On another note we have 2 new additions to our herd, Marshmallow and Rosemary (pictures soon!)
Also, Nutmeg our Lionhead will be due around labor day, this will be a purebred Lionhead litter (She was bred to a friend's broken black Lionhead named Speckles) I will be updating on the upcoming litters!

Almost all gone!
Our cute little babies are six weeks old today, and headed off to their new homes (aside from the little tort)! I will miss having those little cuties to play with. Thankfully I don't have to wait too long though, our black bunny Clove is expecting and is due the last week in August. Since I don't have cute baby bunny pics to post today, I thought I would post pics of our big bunnies :)
Meet Mace! Our purebred and pedigreed broken orange buck! He is the world's greatest pet and stud (he was the father of this last litter)
Meet Peppermint- She is our beautiful Blue Eyed White, and mother of the last litter. Although she is a bit of a diva, she is an EXCELLENT mother.
Meet Clove- Clove definitely has a special spot in my heart. She is the calmest, sweetest bunny and loves people. So far she hasn't had success with her litters (we have our fingers crossed though). She is a purebred Holland Lop even though her ears say otherwise (they airplane a bit)
Meet Thistle- Thistle is our Vienna Marked Black Tort. Since he is still a teenager, we haven't bred him yet. He sure is a friendly little guy! We hope to get some blue eyed whites from he and Peppermint in the future!

A Little Over 4 weeks!
These little cuties are getting so big! Here are some little snippets about each one:
The little tort is MALE! He is the tiniest and snuggliest of them all. He is also a cute little "Momma's Boy", he always like to cuddle with her.
The Vienna Marked broken fawn is a FEMALE! She is HUGE, she is far and away the chubbiest of them all, extremely active and playful! She always runs to the front of the cage when you come to the door! (sorry the pictures aren't so great this week)
We have two FEMALE solid fawns. The first picture is the smaller one. She is more docile. She really, really likes to be held by people. The larger one loves to run and eat. If she isn't eating...she's running :)
The solid orange is MALE. I actually couldn't get a good picture of him this week. So I will post two next time. This little guy is the most active of them all. if you let him, he would just run laps around the room all day. He also likes to give bunny kisses (super cute!)
All of the babies are healthy, happy, and love to be played with!
